Client Need:
Intex was called upon to supply specialist design and manufacture expertise to ensure rugged, stainless enclosures would protect against dust and full submersion (IP68 rating).
Solution:
Intex supplied custom IP68 stainless enclosures to meet requirements. Specifically, the enclosures would need to withstand complete submersion and stress load calculations in the event of a storm surge. Intex was required to design and manufacture large cabinets to the highest of specification.
Result:
Due to tight deadlines, Intex engineers designed the enclosures to meet IP68 standards, had the design approved by the client, manufactured and delivered with four weeks from receiving the order.
In receiving the order, the client stated, “Two things will last on the island in the case of an explosion; Intex’ Stainless Enclosures and the cockroaches!”
